About Calí

Calí is a passionate abstract artist and entrepreneur from Montreal with over 20 years of practice.

After living in different cities of Canada, England and in New York City, and several years of working as Communications Director for multinational premium brands, she decided to finally pursue her dreams and open Cali Art Studio, an online boutique dedicated to sell her art.  

Calí’s art beautifully embodies the expression of her deepest emotions. Embracing the freedom of controlling various mediums and techniques, Calí never lost sight of her primary purpose: creating meaningful pieces that connects with souls and last for a lifetime. Working exclusively with the finest quality materials to ensure the sustainability of her art is of the utmost importance for Calí, as she has a profound respect for the environment. In fact, this is why she committed to plant a tree for every painting or print sold.

Her artistic direction undeniably reflects the love that she carries for the Earth. Inspired by the unparalleled beauty of nature, neutral/earthy/watery tones and raw materials are at the core of her work. Completely obsessed by the harmony of texture and movement, her paintings range from bold brush strokes and thick layers of paste, to very soft and flowy pours of fluid acrylics and alcohol inks.

Although her style is often qualified as contemporary, modern or minimalist, she prefers to say that her heart has no style or etiquette. Her art is honest, genuine, simple and authentic. As long as her art makes other people vibrate, she will continue to create aesthetically attractive art, for all the right reasons.
